This special event offers you a unique opportunity to step behind the scenes and discover the inner workings of our Pantry. You can explore our space, learn about the history and important facts that shape our mission, and experience firsthand what makes the Hanna community so unique. April is volunteer appreciation month and HANNA’s Pantry is proud to honor our dedicated group of volunteers who generously contribute their time, share their expertise, and most importantly, demonstrate commitment to our mission and the families we serve. Volunteer Appreciation
A Night at the Races
We are excited to announce the return of the popular Night at the Races. This year, the festivities will take place on Saturday, May 16 at Harrisburg Area Community College. Guests are encouraged to dress in their favorite racing attire and join in the fun as HANNA’s Pantry presents its own unique take on the Preakness. Enjoy an evening filled with racing-themed excitement and camaraderie while supporting a great cause.

The Great Turkey Drop
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, HANNA’s Pantry provided more than 400 member families with special proteins for Thanksgiving and Christmas 2025. This outpouring of support included the donation of over 200 turkeys, as well as non-meat alternatives. Help us in 2026 by organizing a turkey or ham donation day at your place of work or worship or, contribute a turkey or ham during our annual Turkey Drop, scheduled for Sunday November 15, 2026. Other special holiday favorites like cornbread, stuffing or cranberry sauce are always welcome. Stay tuned for more details about how you can get involved in the fall.
